In third grade we are currently working on report writing. It is very important for students to be able to present information in a clear, engaging way.
As we work, we teach to the standards. Recently we re-wrote the 3rd grade report writing standards in a way that the students can understand.

• I can organize my report using a variety of strategies such as: table of contents, headings or visuals.
• I can communicate big ideas about my topic using facts, details and other information (elements 3 & 6).
