Bruce F. Vento Elementary school has welcomed the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant to its before and after school program. The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) offers enrichment opportunities for students in grades K-6, through additional programming.
These programs take place before and after school, Monday through Friday. The 21st Century program supports students academically and socially in a safe non-threatening environment.

The 21st CCLC Program is a key component of the No Child Left Behind Act. It is an opportunity for students and their families to continue to learn new skills and discover new abilities after the school day has ended. Congress appropriated $991.07 million for after school programs in Fiscal Year (FY) 2005.
Funding for the 21st CCLC is provided by the U.S. Department of Education and administered by the MN. Department of Education.
