Bruce Vento to transition to Environmental Magnet program starting fall of 2025!

Welcome to beautiful Bruce Vento Elementary! Our brand-new school building features an expanded early childhood program, a community hub through Achievement Plus, and the district's only environmental magnet program.

Our mission at Bruce Vento is to provide every student with the strongest possible foundation in reading, writing, math, and science—preparing them for success in middle and high school. Our new environmental magnet focus will encourage students to explore, investigate, learn, and foster play while developing a connection to nature. Our new eco-friendly building utilizes groundwater for heating and cooling and features solar panels for clean energy.

All current Bruce Vento families will have the option to remain at Vento when the environmental program begins in fall 2025 and will not need to reapply.

Discovery Club

Discovery Club is Saint Paul Public Schools year-round, fee based school age child care for children enrolled in Pre-K through 5th grade. Program sites open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m.

Why choose Discovery Club?
Our program is intentionally planned to meet the needs of the child as a whole. Fun enrichment activities are offered and children enjoy a wide variety of literacy, art, music, drama, and science activities, organized games/sports, service learning projects, and field trips. These activities and others, engage children in new learning experiences and give children hands-on opportunities to practice the academic skills they learn during the school day.
