Staff Profile

Welcome to Bruce Vento Elementary!  My name is Kristine Ranweiler.  I have been working as an EL teacher in the St. Paul school district since 2011.  During that time, I have worked with students from kindergarten to middle school.  I really enjoy helping our learners grow in their language abilities and learn to read and write proficiently!

I received my undergraduate degree in English/Language Arts Secondary Education from Concordia University in St. Paul.  In 2011, I received my ESL license from Hamline University and in 2017, I received my Masters degree in ESL from Hamline University.

I have four children of my own, 3 sons and a daughter. Our family has also hosted many foreign exchange students since 2006, so we have "children" all over the world!  In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, gardening, singing and listening to music, practicing yoga, and spending time outside.
