Staff Profile

My name is Jess Jordan and I'm the speech therapist at Bruce F. Vento Elementary.  I grew up in northern Wisconsin and attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth for both undergraduate and graduate degrees in communication disorders.  I worked for 17 years in Eagan, MN as a pediatric outpatient SLP, providing services to children ages 12 months-17 years of age.  My three children all attend SPPS school with my youngest receiving special education services.  While navigating this process I admired the knowledge and compassion of the SPPS staff and began looking for a position in the district.  In August of 2020 I officially joined SPPS at Bruce F Vento Elementary and feel so lucky to be a part of this team of educators.
