Hello Bruce Vento Families!
My name is Rachelle Carlson, and I am so excited to be your child's PreK teacher!
I am an advocate for play and a process art enthusiast. I enjoy bringing experiences into the classroom for students to learn from. I graduated from Concordia University St.Paul. I grew up in Saint Paul and I am a graduate of SPPS. I love spending time with my family. I have a lot of hobbies, which include raising chickens and helping my daughter show them at poultry shows. I also love spending quality time outside with nature.
In PreK, your child will learn more than just letters and numbers. In PreK we focus on the whole child, and how to set a foundation for the rest of their school career. We work on problem solving and communication, how to be responsible, and so much more. During our day we can be found gathering for meetings, working in small groups, playing while practicing our new skills, and reflecting on our day.
