Ms. Luetje

Hello!

My name is Becky Luetje, and I have the privilege to be one of the School Counselors at Bruce Vento!  I am both a licensed school counselor and a licensed teacher, with a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls, and a a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota (go Gophers!).

I have lived in the Twin Cities my entire life.  Besides being at Vento, my favorite thing to do is hang out with my family!  My husband, Dan, and I are the parents of 2 adult children, Lissa and Henry.  They keep me laughing, and I enjoy every minute I get to spend with them.  I also enjoy reading a good book, taking walks, and connecting with friends.  We have a cat named Princess, and a dog named Red.

I am proud to be a part of the Vento school community.  We are strong.  We work together, learn together, and support one another.  I can't think of a place I would rather be!

Our Comprehensive School Counseling Program is for every student at Bruce Vento.

Services provided:

  • Classroom lessons
  • Group counseling (friendship skills, emotion management, career exploration, etc.)
  • Brief, solution-focused individual counseling
  • Parent consultations
  • Teacher consultations
  • Community resource referrals

Bruce Vento School Counseling Vision:

As high school graduates, Bruce Vento students embrace each other’s differences and encourage each other in academic, career, and social/emotional pursuits.  With grit and determination, our students pursue college and careers that best fit them.  They have the skills and the responsibility to positively impact our community.  Their families, their communities, and the world are better off because of them, and they make us all proud.
