Welcome to Bruce Vento Pre-K!  My name is Ms. Thompson and I graduated from Bethel University in 2012, majoring in Elementary Education with a Pre-school emphasis. I have been with Saint Paul Public Schools since 2013, teaching at Bruce Vento since 2016.  

When not in school, I enjoy spending time with my own family, running, and being outdoors.  I have 2 daughters, one who is in 2nd grade and one who is 4 years old.  I love to travel to our family cabin, go for runs, and do anything outdoors.

My family recently moved from White Bear Lake to Stillwater- we love being close to the river!  We have so many beautiful hiking trails and places for the girls to explore.  

My goals for this year are to provide a positive and supportive learning space for your child.   I like to build a strong relationship with not only my students but the families as well, to help each child succeed.  In PreK we will learn how to problem solve, communicate with others, how to be independent and so much more!  I make sure each student is heard, appreciated, and valued in our classroom community.
